Become A Seller

The basics

* We would be delighted  to sell your nearly new designer and high end  children’s clothing, and maternity wear.
* All clothing must be clean, ironned and free from defects, and come to us smelling fresh as a daisy.
* If an item sells, you receive 40% of the sale price in cash or 20% more in store credit
* At the end of the selling period you collect your payment ( within 12 months ) along with any unsold items.
* We work on an appointment basis, so please get in touch to arrange a drop off day.

How it works

Childrenswear

  • The brands we love are: Joules, Ted Baker, Boden, Ralph Lauren, Timberland, etc, and these brands will always take priority.
  • We really like FatFace, Monsoon, Little White Company, and Mamas & Papas
  • We will be very selective with any Next and Gap items, so please only bring more unusual or ‘special’ bits from these brands.
  • We don’t accept any supermarket brands or ‘value’ brands, e.g. Primark.
  • We take Spring/Summer stock mid February until the end of July and Autumn/Winter wear from Mid-August until December.
  • We ask that all clothing be washed, ironed, and thoroughly checked for any stains, holes, or missing buttons before drop-off. We will always prioritise the sellers that have adhered to these rules.
  • Clothes will be selected on desirability of the brand, quality and wear of the item, and availability on the rails. We’ll itemise the bits we’d like to sell in the shop and will send you an inventory which will include recommended prices. Once we receive your approval, we’ll pop the items on the rails.
  • Once items have sold, you receive 40% cash or 20% more if you choose store credit (£10 cash = £12 store credit)  and you can collect any unsold items after 12 weeks. We ask you to please give us plenty of notice if you’re hoping to collect payments, so we can ensure any cheques or vouchers can be made ready.
  • Items that have not sold must be collected within 3 weeks of the end date or they will be automatically be donated to charity.
  • Any items that weren’t selected for sale will need to be collected within 3 weeks, otherwise we will donate them to charity.
  • If you’d like to sell with us, then drop us an email to let us know when you’re hoping to pop in.

Maternity Wear

  • We don’t specify any particular brands for maternity wear, though we won’t accept any supermarket brands.
  • We ask that all maternity wear be washed, ironed, and thoroughly checked for any stains, holes, or missing buttons before drop-off. We will always prioritise the sellers that have adhered to these rules.
